This is an absolutely terrible "explanation." No discussion about how we elect seats, or how the "popular vote" that national polls mimic is a logical fallacy because we have 348 separate elections simultaneously and not one event that gets distributed.

When the #Montreal Canadiens are in the playoffs, buses here flash a sign that says "GO HABS GO." It's a nice tradition. But the STM, bowing to dictates of the Office de la langue française, has changed it to "ALLEZ! CANADIENS ALLEZ!" Something no one ever says— 'cos it doesn't work as a chant.
