"Search ads accounted for more than half of Alphabet’s revenue and nearly three-quarters of the company’s advertising revenue in 2023, according to company filings." Source: wallethub.com/blog/google-... Incentives matter. This is what makes Kagi different: help.kagi.com/kagi/why-kag...

Switched my default search on my iPhone from Google to Kagi and it's been a great change. It's little bit of steps to add the extension but it works so well.

I am using @kagi.com Search for almost a year and I never go back. I feel much better when I pay directly and know where its loyalty stands. If you are getting something for free, you just don’t know what you pay. https://buff.ly/3EJ9wod #search

It's been a week since we launched Privacy Pass for Kagi Search, and we are grateful for all the support and encouragement we've received! This milestone represents a significant step toward elevating privacy for our users, and your feedback has been invaluable. blog.kagi.com/kagi-privacy...

Whelp, finally had to upgrade my @kagi.com plan to Pro as it's grown on me enough that the Starter plan's not cutting it for me anymore. Can't recommend Kagi enough to anyone looking for a better search provider, or one that's not mining your data, or with more cusomizable options.

Update: Kagi is fucking awesome. Got a duo plan now.

It's the first result on Kagi. Just saying 😎

I just signed up for a family subscription to kagi.com, the search engine where you're the customer. $20/mo for up to 6 family members. No ads, no search term tweaking behind the scenes, just quality search results like back in the 2000 era. Check em out here https://kagi.com/pricing?plan=family

I’m trying @kagi.com search and loving it so far. SO nice to see actually useful results in a simple clutter free index.

This March, we're excited to feature community-created versions of our beloved Doggo on the Kagi search homepage. Submissions are still open and we'd love for you to participate! Details: form.jotform.com/250303185469...

I have subscription fatigue, but this one of most valuable services I’m subscribed. @kagi.com is a Google Search alternative, clean, useful results, no ads, committed to privacy. I know, it feels weird to pay for search, I get it, but it’s worth it and way more useful than Google Search today.

As someone who's looking for powerful search algorithms over probability-based LLM results, Kagi is more than worth it.

Thrilled to share that Kagi has reached 40,000 members! 🚀 Thank you to each and every one of you for believing in a better, more private, and ad-free search experience. Your support fuels our mission every day. Here's to the next milestone! 🙌

After hearing @gruber.foo talk about Kagi.com and then hearing it mentione again on The Vergecast, I decided to give it a shot. It’s great. So is their browser Orion! Decided to subscribe for the month to see how it goes. Clean. Great results. No dumb AI.

"While Google is still the most powerful search engine, a quiet shift is happening. Kagi, a challenger with a completely different approach, is proving that search can be reimagined — not for advertisers, but for users." medium.com/@ileniavidil...

Unlike other Map services that track your location to serve you ads, Kagi does not track or store your search history or location data 🗺️ help.kagi.com/kagi/feature...

Officially moved to @kagi.com last night.

Is it weird that I’d rather pay for search than be the product? My data gets harvested, ads manipulate results, and I’m stuck in a loop of nonsense. Forget it. I’m trying Kagi for a week—if it works, I’m keeping it. 🔍🚀 Here’s why: youtu.be/7ZLOBHAtjxk?... #PrivacyMatters #BetterSearch #Kagi

I've recently been using @kagi.com as my search engine (and their Orion browser!). As of today they now support Privacy Pass authentication to add yet another layer of protection. Privacy matters. blog.kagi.com/kagi-privacy...
