Friday's reading from the gospel has the people saying, "We have no king but Caesar." It is interesting that people say "Under Hitler, Germany will be back to its former glory!" or "Under Trump, America will be Great again." We see once again, the people rejecting Jesus as a leader.

Trump surrendered again on tariffs after the bond market went nuts, which he and his advisers were too stupid to foresee, then he was unable to get House Republicans to agree on a budget deal even after it was brought to the floor for a vote, all while claiming victory the entire time.
