Yeah, you don't generally come out as something that, at minimum, risks harassment and ostracization without being pretty solidly confident in your identity.

On the subject of people traveling to the US right about now: Fuck, if I were from another country and I didn't need to come, I sure as hell wouldn't, the current administration has made it clear traveling here isn't safe, and why not take them at their word, there's a whole world to visit

Dang, it's a real shame that Sarah Wynn-Williams can't promote her own book, "Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism". Makes one wonder why Zuckerberg wants it out of the spotlight. If only there was some book one could read to give insight into his motives here. 🤔

One extra little thing that's not getting much attention amidst everything else: it looks like Kendrick Lamar may also have snuck in a trans flag reusing the outfits used to make the American flag. Lamar does have two trans family members, so it'd be a clever way of getting past the censors.

It's funny to me how often I see transphobes complaining that "everyone these days is confused about their gender!" Hate to break it to you, but the only people confused about the gender of trans people...are transphobes. While it's a journey, most trans people know *exactly* what their gender is.
