There should really be a way to block images here, like how we can block words. Nothing fancy, just a hash check would suffice. I'm just so tired of seeing the same 5 "memes" endlessly reposted on the Discover feed.

Sometimes I look at my posts online and wonder why they're so dour when I generally see myself as more of a silly lil guy. I know I've been stressed lately, but it's unsettling to see it affect how I'm presenting myself. I need to work on bringing more positivity to the world and to myself.

Found a "Text Only" version of the Discover feed, and my experience so far is that all the political cartoon slop is replaced with horny furry slop. ...I can't deny it's at least an improvement.

About 80% of my BlueSky experience so far has been going to the Discover page and blocking accounts that post the same 6 or so political memes with zero additional insight. Still waiting for the algorithm to get the hint there.
