I'm a very agnostic lapsed Catholic, but a part of me really does want Heaven to be real, so I can stand at the gates and start reciting my list of complaints. And I realize it's presumptuous to presume that's where I'd go, but that's fine, I'll bitch at the devil too.

I feel a bit guilty for deleting a comment from my YouTube channel (for Twitch Vods, basically) that was about religion. It was an innocent comment, as a response to some stream of conscious musing on the topic in the VOD itself, but I really don't want to risk attracting other types of commenters.

I realize there are far bigger things to be upset about in the world, but I really wish I would stop seeing those weird tubi ads with the dude with a flesh cowboy hat growing out of his head. It really just makes me want to delete tubi off of every device I have.

Oh dear, now I'm reminded of the irritation I feel toward people who are upset that a cis man is playing Murderbot. I mean, yes, a nonbinary actor would have been a more suitable choice. But when people start floating cis FEMALE actors instead, I start to side-eye.

Okay, so I haven't actually seen SNL's anniversary thing, but I just saw some complaints about its "recency bias" and ignoring the history for the "recent past" and I wonder if the writers remember that it's a sketch show starring real live people.

I will never be interested in any version of He-Man that doesn't allow him to be as gay as Prince Adam in the 80s cartoon was.

This. As someone who self-defines as both liberal and leftist, the two groups *do* have to work together. And that means self-styled liberals not doing the "let's just have a *little* bigotry, as a treat" thing. If there was ever a time for compromise with the right, now is not that time.
