I think today is a great day to mention that the only things stopping the UK parliament from abolishing elections are: 1. Parliament Act 1911 2. ECHR and HRA 1998. 3. The House of Lords who can delay legislation a few times. 4. The Monarchy who can theoretically refuse royal assent.

I would like a word with whoever taught cis people that if they see a trans person who is upset about the rise of transphobia, they have to tell them they’re “valid” I’ve been out as trans for 13 years. I know I’m a man, I don’t need your personal validation, maybe protest against fascism instead?
