There some funny TikTok discourse about British food right now. It’s funny because I’ve always maintained that (at least in the US), food is the one thing people can’t say was ruined by millennials (broadly speaking, we elevated food & food culture), so picking a fight with them over this subject…

Re-watching “Elementary” is WILD. I can’t stop myself from hysterically giggling every time Jonny Lee Miller has to solve a case involving a hacker collective or when his character talks about recovering from a heroin addiction. It’s not his fault—I just watched to many movies as a teen in th 90s

I would post about serious things if I didn’t spend all my energy in a constant state of disassociation just to get through the day

I’ve never wanted something to happen so badly as I want Pete Davison to start dating Kanye’s newly divorced ex wife

I’m so internet-brained now that I want a singing fish thingie, but instead of a fish it’s a sunflower & it’s singing “One Last Breath” & I can’t FATHOM why this is a thing that doesn’t already exist

I thought my outfit looked cute, but my partner told me I looked like a Victorian woman who sold orphans to thieves. I told him he was short enough that if I ground his bones to bake into meat pies, my clients wouldn’t tell the difference

Still find it unfathomable that no one has come up with a magic/wizard wand per laser pointer toy. I have been reduced to individually messaging Etsy sellers to see if they’ll sell me the casing of their light up wands to convert, which is a little to close to (GASP!) making one myself…

1/…I find constant handwringing & calls to be nicer to or have empathy for the “other side” (maga, conservatives, evangelicals, the lonely men that are apparently in an epidemic, et al) disingenuous & really fucking annoying…

1/2…One of my favorite things about David Lynch, the person, is how aggressively—even disconcertingly—normal he seemed. (In the sense that he seemed decent, kind, watched trashy television, & liked eating hamburgers).

I shouldn’t take so much pleasure in telling people who post about their term paper “Barbara Krueger Vreated the First Memes” that this is a) not even remotely true, & b) they should look up the actual definition of the word “meme” the night before their paper is due

I hate the fact that it takes me a cycle of about three back & forth replies to realize that the person I’m arguing with online just doesn’t know what words mean

For some reason, I seem to be amassing a small following of atheists? I mean, it’s totally fine—I’m an atheist. It’s not something I really advertise, but it’s not a secret. I just feel as if they’ll be disappointed when I start posting about astrology* *(everyone needs a hobby, it’s one of mine 🤷🏾‍♀️)
