After 13 days I was finally able to log in to Infinity Nikki, and then as soon as I took care of some menu stuff, the joystick stopped controlling Nikki. So yeah... still not that interested in continuing with the game.

I have seen the new Afterglow cards and costumes from JPdori, and I really love the idea of having a redesigned "Round 2" for popular costume sets, like Afterglow's Steampunk set. I hope they do this for other sets too, like Pasupare's safari set, or HaroHapi's dinosaur set.

Here's my beef with soulsborne brand difficulty: It doesn't "reward skill" so much as it overly punishes mistakes. You can dodge a boss' attack 49/50 times, but it doesn't matter if that one miss means instant failure. Games should be the perfect medium for teaching us it's okay to make mistakes.

I'm so mad at myself. Had an amazing run in Blue Prince last night, lasted like 2 hours. So I needed to go to bed after, but I accidentally chose Save & Continue. So I had to sacrifice a day. Also the game needs to do a better job at communicating that a certain thing carries over between days.

I've moved on to season 2 of "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out my Level" and I think what I like about it is, despite the name, it's not a power fantasy. But it also doesn't go out of its way to "subvert tropes." It's just happy doing its own thing in an oversaturated genre.
