#7days7songs Week 15 - David Bowie Day 4 - Time (off the album ‘Aladdin Sane’) youtu.be/V1miHXIYz7I?... Cracker

As I was saying moments before he got sent off, thought Dorgu was looking good. Yoro’s best 90 minutes too, first time have really seen him show glimpses of his potential.

Disappointed no one joined in with my ‘we are staying up’ in the 96th minute

Well done United, deserved the win there

There’s no way that looked a red in real time

Some promising signs from United for a change. Think Yoro / Dorgu / Garnacho have linked up well, ably supported by Bruno. Zirkzee trying his best on the right with no support from Hojlund and Ugarte.

It looked to me like Onana was really hesitant in coming out. Can see why Dorgu felt he had to tap it back.

#7days7songs Week 15 - David Bowie Day 3 - All The Madmen (off the album ‘The Man Who Sold The World’) youtu.be/fB4bHjruGxE?... Fitting song, given I’m at Old Trafford.

#7days7songs Week 15 - David Bowie Day 2 - Cygnet Committee (off the album ‘David Bowie’ aka ‘Space Oddity’) youtu.be/ZZ2VMPPyyck?... Can’t imagine this would make many people’s 7 song Bowie cut but it makes mine. Always loved how sprawling it is, and has some cracking lines in it.

#7days7songs Week 15 - David Bowie Day 1 - Five Years (off the album ‘The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars’) youtu.be/8gPSGrpIlkc?... Nowhere better to start…

#7days7songs Week 15 - David Bowie It’s time for one of the absolute heavyweights…

Brilliant but devastating editorial in the Financial Times. “In the past 10 days, he [Trump] has all but incinerated 80 years of postwar American leadership. If you are not at the table, you are on the menu. America has turned.”

Not difficult

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Quite odd to think that just over a fortnight ago, I’d not have been able to name a single song by Hamish Hawk. The first song and the final three this week are now proper firm favourites for me. Next week? Time for one of the heavyweights…

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 7 - The Mauritian Badminton Doubles Champion, 1973 (off the album ‘Heavy Elevator’) youtu.be/yC_-YhydSyc?... An absolute belter of a song to end the week. Gets better every time I listen to it and I’ve heard it well over 50 times in the past 2 weeks.

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 6 - Catherine Opens A Window (off the album ‘From Zero To One’) youtu.be/5ZbcqXON7aw?... A change of pace. What a beautiful song. This the performance from New Century Hall, Manchester, that I was at last week (not my video, mind).

Listened to the game again whilst doing a 10 mile run. Sounded awful until we scored. Good result all things considered. Genuinely getting concerned could be dragged into a relegation battle, every point helps. Hojlund needs a prolonged spell out of the side, like playing with 10 men with him.

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 5 - Money (off the album ‘Angel Numbers’) youtu.be/kHGYllnPak8?... A chorus Morrissey would be proud of (and not just because it’s in English). Been hard to shift this out of my head over the past fortnight.

Gut feeling is that United are on the more difficult side of that draw.

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 4 - Nancy Dearest (off the album ‘A Firmer Hand’) Last song from his most recent album. The upcoming run of 3 songs have been on a loop in my head for about 2 weeks now. youtu.be/swTgiFNzmuk?...

‘…that is the Trunchbull's great secret.' What is?" Lavender asked. Matilda said, 'Never do anything by halves if you want to get away with it. Be outrageous. Go the whole hog. Make sure everything you do is so completely crazy it's unbelievable.’ Reading this to Maia tonight. #misstrumpball

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 3 - Men Like Wire (off the album ‘A Firmer Hand’) youtu.be/525gClcVEfA?...

Johnson was at it this morning ‘oh he doesn’t mean it, he’s trying to shock Europe into action’ etc. Trump’s aim will be to split Ukraine with Russia and have his companies go and make money out of it. There will be no interest in anything else. Then after Ukraine, he’ll try and repeat the trick.

Trump has one aim - to make money for himself. That is all. Everything he does is motivated by that single thing. He’s a thick arsehole who blunders into situations like a wrecking ball. This idea that he’s some kind of astute political operator is bollocks.

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 2 - Elvis Look-alike Shadows (off the album ‘Angel Numbers’) youtu.be/3Q9Y9toJ6aA?... Reminds me of REM for 2 reasons - 1) a song mentioning Elvis 2) the guitar twiddle reminds me of Monster

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Day 1 - Juliet as Epithet (off the album ‘A Firmer Hand’) youtu.be/euPadL5vxU4?... Moody one to start with…

#7days7songs Week 14 - Hamish Hawk Fair to say I’ve barely listened to anything else this past 10 days, and although everything by him has been new to me, I’m pretty confident that this is a cracking selection of songs this week. He’s bloody good.

#7days7songs Week 13 - Mew music.apple.com/gb/playlist/... Strange band, Mew, not easy to categorise but had some belting tunes. Listened to them a lot in the early part of this century and been nice to go back to them.

#7days7songs Week 13 - Mew Day 7 - The Zookeeper’s Boy (off the album ‘… And The Glass Handed Kites’) youtu.be/um3aQ8UB9HM?... Takes me right back to 2007 and moving from Chester to London.

On the plus side, we’ve got a whole week in training now, so by the time we play Everton, we’ll be down to 6 fit first team players.

My listening to the match good luck ran out. Fucked when spurs scored as there are no goals at all in this United team. We will get battered at Everton so that Ipswich game in midweek is massive.

#7days7songs Week 13 - Mew Day 6 - Snow Brigade (off the album ‘Frengers’) youtu.be/8gp_iNiqZW4?... Great song, the type of performance only an awards ceremony will bring 😂
