Did a worm create this captcha?

What is the scientific way of saying something just happened and I rolled with it? Currently using the phrase "a novel [thing] was serendipitously generated" but I'm not sure it's the word best choice.

This is how worm people cast their imaging molds. Consider me (i) jealous and (ii) full of questions #DevBio 🧪

Day 3 of the Canadian Developmental Biology Conference continues with trainee Shreyosi Bose from University of Alberta telling us about “Regulation of PP1 phosphatase in C. elegans sperm development and post-fertilization signaling” #CDBC2025 @socdevbio.bsky.social

Proud to be a part of this collaboration. It was great working with Sumeda Nandadasa and his team. Cleavage of the Meckel syndrome protein TMEM67 by ADAMTS9 uncouples Wnt signaling and ciliogenesis rdcu.be/eobyf

Today I'm giving a talk about how great worms are. I feel like I'm trying to recruit people to a cult. #Celegans

Congratulations to Gary and Iva on this recognition for their work on Notch signaling! Worms and flies ftw! #celegans #drosophila 🧪

Very cool!

Love this "behind the paper" !!! @inikon.bsky.social

Hi Fly, Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Worm, and Yeast communities- Looking for the latest numbers on gene conservation between your favorite species and humans (like I was!)? Please see this excellent review (Table 2) by S Yamamoto, @okanca.bsky.social, M Wrangler, and H Bellen rdcu.be/efiXa

How can you tell if a researcher works with worms? Don't worry, they'll tell you.

There are very fancy microscopes, but most are overpriced commodities in an un-competitive industry that sells you 100 features you don't want for every one you do. And, unless you're a cell biologist or mouse-ologist, no one makes a microscope for the experiment you want to do.

More tales of people being detained by immigration as they try to visit the US. Suspicions growing this is partly due to people being openly critical of Trump. This toxic environment will not be encouraging visitors

Great news for 🇨🇦 research.

Job opening in my research group!! Please share. I'm looking for a lab technician to join my small team investigating how chromatin structure regulates gene expression in C. elegans. www.fmi.ch/education-ca...

oops-1 is a pretty good gene name.

Is anyone planning a worm disease models workshop for #Worm25?

PhD opportunity: I am looking for a PhD student to study taxonomy and systematics of labrid fishes and other coral reef taxa. Successful applicants will be jointly based at the University of Sydney and the Australian Museum Research Institute.

Excited to share our ✨preprint✨ from my work in Ted Wensel's lab! Do I have any Philly friends who would be down to do some volunteer work for Skype a scientist in the next week or so 😅 I mayyyyy have gotten myself slightly in over my head. Need help with folding, ribbon tying, counting…nothing hard. Just repetitive.
