If you accomplish everything through A.I., then it's not you who's doing anything - it's the A.I. This isn't like the introduction of calculators, where it simply replaced busywork - A.I. is replacing learning how to think and problem-solve. Relying on A.I. makes you dumber. Don't be dumber.

FWIW, I think it is highly rationale & pragmatic for the core Go team to take this step. It follows one of the core tenets of Go, which is that in the absence of consensus, the default is to not make a change. As I understand it, it is also follows the tenet of "No is temporary. Yes is forever".
