This is bad news. Amazon has a habit of ruining classic characters and worlds. For every Continental, Jack Reacher or Fallout, there’s a Rings of Power. Is James Bond going to go down burning like a Disney Star Wars?

This is a great list of historical epics. Some I have enjoyed and some I must see. John Woo’s Red Cliff and Akira Kurosawa’s Ran are top of my list, although Sergei Bondarchuk’s War and Peace will be a project (7 hours), I loved his Battle of Sevastopol more recently. youtu.be/WKHBEZtI4y4?...
