This is today’s starting point for my second version of frog and mushroom. The mushrooms need mycelium, the background needs light pizzazz of some sort, and a border will be painted on to look like wood. I haven’t decided if it will be wood bark or wood slice in appearance.

This little critter is based off of a small home decor piece I saw online one day and of course it needed mushrooms. There’ll be a few more of these in different colors that I'm excited to pick back up again this year. This is done with acrylic paint for the design and spray paint for the border.

Man, it’s been nearly 2 weeks since I’ve had a chance to work on my art. The big life has been overwhelming and my little life has become very busy with appts and such. Short of a months long project. Found this cracked display on clearance. Used gold paint and mod podge for the biggest cracks. I aged it with dusty corners/cobwebs. Added vines, little mushrooms/moss. Made little potted plants from paper, wire, clay. 😊 #craft #art #handmade #mushrooms #miniatures
