I've been in workshops & writing groups, but I've never really put one together. That said, my new writing group has done its 1st story, which went pretty darn well. I'm thinking about adding people & trying to do additional or simultaneous projects, so I was wondering if anyone had any insight.

I interpreted for Yoot Saito in an interview (even though he actually speaks English perfectly fine), and he was super friendly even though he did not need me. I find it pretty funny that Ricky Gervais' stand-up special on Netflix titled "Humanity" in English is translated as 人間嫌い in Japanese, which if translated back into English, would be a lot closer to "Misanthrope."

Out taking a little 2 hour stroll around west Tokyo this evening to relax a bit and get those 12k steps in. It's amazing how much the humidity has really kicked in since the start of the month. I'm not remotely tired, but I look like I just ran a marathon I'm so sweaty.
