I really never thought world war 3 would be started by the USA. But here we are. Time to chuck the US out of NATO and get together to face down the very real threat posed by the US and Russia.

Remember how @carolecadwalla.bsky.social uncovered the fact that our #Brexit vote was interfered with? It was an experiment to see whether it was possible to influence a vote via social media using targeted disinformation. The experiment was successful so they did it again in America.

I wanted to be Marianne Faithfull. She was so cool, so beautiful, so talented. Hung out with the Rolling Stones, slept with Mick Jagger. Had a hit record. Made incredibly stylish movies. Recorded amazing music as an older woman. Absolute icon.

Mary Poppins was on the telly today. Got me googling what happened to those lovely kids. So upsetting. Matthew Garber who played Michael Banks died aged 21 having contracted hepatitis from street food in India. Here he is in New York shortly before he died. Lovely boy and so talented.

Here’s my take on pension equality: My husband and I got together in 1990. As an equal partnership we raised 3 children. When he was working outside the home, I was working at home often doing childcare during the day and other work in the evenings (telesales, 4 years as a Councillor. I was busy.)

SaraSharif died in no small part because of the Family Court. The number of cases I have heard where a child is sent into the care of a known abuser is appalling. Mothers are disbelieved when they say the father of their child is dangerous, men are believed. Institutional misogyny is deadly.

Made the mistake in showing interest in an issue. It was that eating too much animal protein causes cancer. Asked for more info. Oh dear. Inundated with 17 different posts and links to documentaries, articles & books. I seem to have stumbled into a convo with an evangelical vegan health freak. 😩
