One of my favorite days was when a judge dropped his opinion that the plaintiff was a fucking liar (better stated) in a case from this place I worked. I went to the oral argument and her lawyer is also a total fucking grifter. Pure vindication.

I only really had a great front row seat to the marathon one year, probably 2010 or 2011. My friend's then BF lived right in Washington Square and we cheered for everyone until we were hoarse. I don't know if any other marathons are quite like it. I wore that colander on my head all day.
