Thank God for @mollyjongfast.bsky.social: "I'm going to respectfully push back on this. This is thought policing 101.....They are using anti-antisemitism as a cloak...This is about targeting speech....It has nothing to do with anti-antisemitism and everything to do with authoritarianism."

Yes, there are many parallels with fascism. But I think we do a disservice if we don’t acknowledge there is also a mob mentality happening here. Detainees make for cheap global labor. I don’t think these guys have an ideology other than make as much money as possible. They use fascism as a front.

So you really think that the world’s richest 2700 people don’t have a plan? I’ve been to crypto conferences and they talk about this stuff. You don’t think maybe they believe their own hype and have the hubris to attempt it? I’m not saying it’s going to work. In fact, it will fail. We need a plan.

That way, we’re constantly reinvesting in the areas that actually make life worth living. I guess where you have problems is deciding which level of comfort makes life worth living, and also doesn’t further imperil us ecologically. It seems pretty Spartan. Maybe we should start visualizing it.

We need to include ecological and sociological assets in GDP calculations. So for instance, if water quality/stores start to decrease, we have mandatory investments in water infrastructure. Same goes for air quality, education, health outcomes, etc, all the quality of life indices. 3/

There is no National emergency other than the fact that we’re running out of resources. But that’s a global issue. And the people causing most of the problems are wealthy individuals. Here’s the problem: Population != Carbon output; Population x GDP = Carbon output 2/

I spent a year in the crypto space (never traded - was more interested in learning). Is it possible they (he doesn’t act alone) want to destabilize the dollar to replace it with Bitcoin as a reserve currency? If so, mission accomplished AND they got a deal on stocks. Also, the crypto world sucks.

I find the men my age baffling. It’s like they’re hypnotized. Maybe it was one of the video games from the 80s.

I keep wondering where the war that will make him a wartime president will start. I’m thinking here. I’m also wondering which sanctuary city he’ll invade first.
