Something I want to mention: If I share something to bring light to an incident or person, the aim is for others to be informed so they can make a decision best for them. My intention is NOT to demand bans or encourage groupthink. Knowledge is power. What people do with it is up to them.

I am on the welcome team at my church and we just got notice of our safety plan to implement if ICE attempts to enter a service. (to be clear, we are a church that will NOTA let them in) It’s so infuriating that we have to have a plan for such a thing. I hate this administration so much.

One of my jobs is directly funded by a federal grant. A program that provides clinical support & education to youth & caregivers who have experienced trauma. Fortunately, we are able to resume business as usual for now, but it’s terrifying to think this role could disappear in a flash.
