Got to assist a senior priest at the altar, and she called me Kaye Bach (little Kaye), which is very Welsh but hadn't happened to me before. #TinyJoys #TinyMe

Discussing with the family whether I should have 'Shine Jesus Shine' on Sunday (for Transfiguration) and now we're all earwormed with 'Sweet Caroline'.

This was the view as we left church this morning

Sweeney Todd earworms all round today because a greenfinch has started using our bird feeder (no linnets or nightingales, though)

In (checks watch) 12 hours time I will be limbering up to give the first session of @romgothsam.bsky.social online charity teachathon Goths For Breakfast Information below 👇

When you think you've got X pages to read and it turns out to be X/2 because bilingual resources. #TinyJoys

My lovely wife has been away for 2 days for work. This seems to have coincided with in a sharp increase in me singing little songs to my dog about how wonderful he is.

I've had to come to Wrexham. It's crowded and busy and I miss my dog! ... (I've been here 10 minutes)

Child 4: why don't they just call it exorcism rather than ministry of deliverance, so people know what it means? Me: well, it doesn't get talked about much at all, to be honest. Child 4: so, exorcism is Jesus' fight club? Me: ...

Mozart found a seat he hadn't tried yet!

Because even during the Horrors, there is work to be done: I'm currently taking on new music students - voice, piano, songwriting/composition-Bluesky, I was wondering if you could help me spread the word? Deeply experienced trans teacher w/a specialism in trans voices... www.cnlester.com/teaching-1

I used this in Lent last year and it was great!

Today's news is that I have 2 (TWO) kidneys* and they 'look great', so that's nice. *This was queried because my father discovered at about my age that he'd only ever had one

Jeoffrey is taking over where Brunhilde left off #CatsAtPrayer #ServantOfTheLivingGod

One ear deployed!

Night night from Mozart

Honoured/flattered to have been featured in this month's The Indie Post Magazine discussing my Windrush Opera with brilliant librettist Edson Burton and Pegasus Opera Company. Had a lovely conversation with Gina Sedman. www.theindieposts.com/the-indie-po...

This morning's walk

Escher legs!

Mozart has a new shirt!

We've been trying to get the dog to stand on a piece of paper so we can draw round his feet while they're load-bearing and get him the right size boots. So of course he's decided paper is anathema and now there's a shunned piece of A4 in the middle of the living room foor in case he changes his mind

Mozart did very well in the snow this morning but I think I might get him some boots!

I am not allowed to go and do things. I am galgo cushion now!

Southern Spain to North Wales must be a bit of a culture shock!

We have a dog! This is Mozart. He's a galgo (Spanish greyhound). We brought him home today.

People measure the age of their children in months for such a long time now. When my 360 month old was younger, we definitely stopped at 2 years old (but you could carry on swallowing little bits of toys until 36 months)

Happy new year, all! 2024 has brought a move to Wales and zero (0) appendectomies! Let's see if 2025 can be even better!

Right! I need to crack on with writing this assignment! It's been half done since well before Christmas. Self-imposed deadline is a week before official deadline, but unfortunately my brain knows that, so it's proving tricky.
