Bergvall the genuine bright spark in that half I thought.

Weirdly it feels very early season non performance - not the full strength side admittedly but sloppy on the ball and lacking urgency off it. There’s a week until Europa so no excuse really.

MSNBC worries about the perception that they’re not fair to R’s while Fox eats an $800m libel settlement to preserve its ability to lie about Ds. That’s the asymmetry that gives illiberalism a structural advantage. open.substack.com/pub/readtpa/...

Man takes run at player in the box and fully tackles him. No foul. Pedro Porro leans into Ipswich player - foul. I hope this ref gets some form of demotion for this performance. It is diabolically bad.

Aside from a nervy 5 at the start and the dodgy header to help Ipswich's goal I think Danso has been very good today. Strong, brave in the tackle and equally brave on the ball. Good work Kevin

Take a bow Djed. Undroppable. Unstoppable.

Deki has been very poor this half. I'd make the sub, he's so off the pace.

This ref is utterly dreadful

Just the full bodycheck then

Great move. Bergvall our best midfielder and its not even close today

This ref, oh my word

What??!?!! That was a foul on Gray ffs

So sloppy. Danso has looked a bit out of sorts and deals with a bouncing ball really poorly but the rest of the defence barely reacted either. Letting Ipswich back in with a whimper. So frustrating

Brennan Johnson has two moves - the little flick around the corner that usually goes to the opposition defender and goals.

Feels like at this point Trump could just reintroduce Matt Gaetz for a senate confirmable role and he’d get through. The frog is well and truly boiled.

Who edited those highlights for MotD2?! United had practically half the xG we had, fewer chances and less possession - they made it look like we were completely overrun! Laughable

Which teams Alan? Which teams have competed every three days in four competitions since November, with ten injuries and ‘handled it better than Tottenham’? Just ignorant

Anthony Taylor is having a dreadful dreadful game

Reasonable 15 after the break, completely gassed again. Bentancur just watching Rogers run past him to score. Just nothing to bring off the bench to change things atm. It’s so painful.

Sub Bentancur. Sub Bentancur. Sub Bentancur

Fans have been great

Bentancur with a truly mystifying first pass. Starting as he ended the first half. Really badly

The punditry so far at half time on the BBC has been pretty good. They haven’t mentioned the tiredness of the squad, which i realise is boring to talk about, but it’s crucial
