It's been forever since Bronski Beat was front and center in my consciousness. It's heartening to see Jimmy Somerville stand up to fascists using the trans community as whipping boys and girls, or supposed liberals throwing them under the bus. Smalltown Boy is a powerful song. And still relevant.
