Had to be done.

I really need to catch up with ORPHAN BLACK.

Age yourself with a movie you saw in the theater. I was literally a baby. But apparently I never cried so my parents took me to the theater because they wanted to see it. So this was my first theatrical experience!

I don’t watch trailers, but was thrilled to get this one after being on a high from having just watched THE MONKEY. KEEPER instantly became my most anticipated film of 2025.

In less than 2 weeks I will be in Chicago for a 35 mm screening of THE DEAD THING from @elrickane.bsky.social and co at the @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social I’m super proud to be an AP on this film. It’s artistic and visionary (biased but its true). See you there hopefully!

Did not have THE MONKEY on my bingo card for one of the most poignant films of the year, but here we are. Also, I’m still laughing because it’s hella funny. Who wants to go dancing?

LONGLEGS re-watch report. This movie rips.

So yeah, I’ll take 3 Oz Perkins films every year please. THE MONKEY is great. It has creative horror, real laugh out loud black comedy, and heart. Hits that sweet spot. Theo James is wonderful and my god Tatiana Masanly is a treasure. Cannot wait for KEEPER next.

Excited to be seeing THE MONKEY this afternoon!

Upon re-watch (and setting aside my own expectations), I really dug MAXXXINE the second time around. Mia Goth is her usual, interesting, excellent self. The vibes & set pieces are great. Cool cast. Sophie Thatcher shows up. Needle drops and score are great. Love an LA film. Good times.

I have not watched a Bond film since SKYFALL.

Yes please. Sean is one of my favorites!

What's a movie that is wildly considered bad but you love it proudly?

Listening to SUPERDRAG today.

In case you need to know (and you do), there’s a YEAH YEAH YEAHS track that features Dr Octogon.

Honored to be an associate producer on THE DEAD THING. Check out this atmospheric, LA noire, thriller now streaming on Shudder! Congrats @elrickane.bsky.social

THE GORGE was rad. A great blend of action, sci-fi, romance. Cool set pieces. Anya (a charisma bomb) & Miles were a fun hang. Loved the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s needle drop (my fave scene). I must know what was “now playing” on that marquee! Congrats @crobertcargill.bsky.social @scottderrickson.bsky.social

Sweet! Gonna check this out this weekend.

Time for THE SUBSTANCE on 4k. 😍

I finally saw THE WOLFMAN (2010) and I liked it.

YES PLEASE.

HEART EYES is great. Glad it’s doing well. Go see it theatrically and take your peeps! 😍

Ethan Embry casting news is always a good time to remind everyone to check out THE DEVIL’S CANDY.

HEART EYES is so fun! Cool set pieces and off the charts charisma & chemistry from Olivia and Mason. Deftly shifts between slasher horror and romantic comedy. Love seeing Jordana Brewster shine too. Congrats @joshruben.bsky.social and co!

Not even the rain would stop me from seeing @elrickane.bsky.social ‘s mind-twisting erotic thriller/horror hybrid THE DEAD THING in the best way…on 35mm at the Church of Cinema! Big @purecinemapod.bsky.social moment! Great Q&A too w/ cast and crew.Viva Genre Cinema, thanks @newbeverly.bsky.social

Mr. Joe Lynch. 👑

Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, and Janelle Monae absolutely killed it.

Score of the year as far as I’m concerned.
