Just watched a grown woman go out of her way to disrupt children & young people trying to swim in the local pool, walking in front of them trying to swim. She was totally unchallenged by lifeguards but changed her behaviour immediately when a 50ish yr old man got in. People absolutely suck

A major issue with opposing DEI is that it makes people think that anyone who may fit that profile (anyone other than white het NT non-disabled cis males) are DEI hires rather than having been hired as the best person for the job. It's a really slippery slope of nullifying value in the workplace
