First day of work after getting back from vacation in Cuba and I experience this classic movie moment. Watched as my entire boot disappeared into a submerged pothole in the parking lot. Karma got me.

Currently working on three games at once. Suikoden 1 & 2 HD - half way through the first game. Looks beautiful and has nice QoL battle features but could’ve used changes to inventory management. Kid Icarus - First time putting time into this NES cult classic. It’s fun. THPS 1&2 - nuff said

2025 Completed Games thread. Kicked off the year with the remastered Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. It’s clearly dated being a 1999 PS1 game, but I had a fun time revisiting the game. The cliffhanger ending is still jarring and underwhelming. 8.5/10.

I’ve been diving into video games this fall in an attempt to avoid depression. Some thoughts Metaphor Refantazio - I’m about 45 hours in and absolutely adoring it. Very close to being my GotY. It’s a 9.5 or 10 at this point. Astro Bot - pure joy from start to finish. My GotY. An easy 10. 1/??

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is beaten with just over 90 hours on the clock. I’ll have more thoughts at some point but for now I’ll say it’s one of my favourite Final Fantasy games.
