Ooooh yes. Long story short, Aya's main client/patron attacked her in a jealous rage with a dagger and left her for dead. Once Aya healed, she quit being a courtesan and opened her dance studio. (Thanks to the attack, she now has a large scar on the left side of her waist.)

Due to Reasons, Aya was told she couldn’t have children. Since she wasn’t having/ didn’t have sex for several years, she believed it. Then Aya had sex with Rolan & surprise got pregnant. Turns out tieflings are “potent” (my headcanon) & if it was with anyone else Aya would have trouble conceiving.
