won another mummies LP today. if you haven't seen this band or heard them, they are my new favourite. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFnl...

had another email about the BBC poetry event requirements for my dietary events, accommodations and stuff. all good so far. they asked for a proper artist photo so here's the one I used. your friend the poet, all nice and clean.

as i just saw that Pepto Bismol ad with the weird ska music backing that ends with the words "diarrhoea!" I'll post this for a change. i actually did this last week and it was a steady 1/5. some good friends and a house and a rum after was nice though 🥰 www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbX7....

I really hope TOTP is good this week. I saw the 97 one last week and aside from placebo, I didn't need to subjected to a crap band called damage.

I said no logo on the foam

hope this drops in today, just in time for the DJ set tomorrow. The always heavy and impressive Jon Spencer Blues Explosion remixed by the 1999 edition of Alec Empire. fused together they become a raucous intergalactic rock n roll bomb of sound www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uiw3...

Found this poem in my memories today. This weekend will be my father's 28th year of not being here. It's obviously an old piece, and as I found out, certain parties in life last week will remain a mystery. As he follows me on here, it is inspired by Buck 65's "ice" in a way. Sunrise, sunset...

think i've packed this for when i'm djing tomorrow- i was HEAVILY into this band's debut and Sam Endicott's look back then. the lyrics to most of their tunes were not very good, but their musical backing was brilliant

although working today, unlike last friday evening i'm glad not to be in the company of a vapid conversation and then waking up on my mate's couch wondering where the fuck i am the following day, likely feeling still drunk for the rest of the day

just your friendly neighbourhood spaceman Robert Englund as "Willie" from V/V: The Final Battle

There's a hat for that

my mummies- play their own records LP dropped in today. holy shit! what a band. spinning vibes like this, come Saturday... www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsOm...

spring is coming along and i'm clearing off half of the absolute toxic entities off my feed. letting them back in was a mistake. thank you for staying at chez higgins. please take your emotional luggage, which we've left at the door with you.

ghost rider.

great record, but was the dreaded start of adding strings to many 70s reggae records, diluting the product as so. still, this song reminds me of my youth when my mam used to have this on tape.

This is a powerful endorsement and so far, the best thing i've been part of in 2025

time to crack on with more Actionists promos, as delightfully my co-pilot for the adventure @ricardoautobahn.co.uk did some neat 20-second clips I can put to visuals. not saying much, but the new track "Life is like a videogame (with no chance to win)" music video is gonna impress you all. :)

kudos to the delivery man who pushed a record through my window today and landed on the bed, as I forgot to give a specific location on where to leave it. usually, they just leave it on next door's doorstep and drive off into the sun.

we gon'a burn the teslas down... pioneer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQva...

listening to Merzbow's "Merzbeat" and its fun a time.

I reckon @spraypopmusic.com could do a great cover of this. just for the synths alone www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th3e...

25 years of the band disturbed doing a UK tour. used to give me ennui every time I heard them at rock nights. to combat that bloke making stupid noises, I requested Atari teenage riot and watched the floor part. likely get booked at piece hall next year, as the nu metal plague is every summer now

Djing this Saturday. New wave, punk, surf, and everything in between. Just packed my case!

doing my bit digging up obscure slavic electro pop again youtu.be/9yDhuvcWbbc?...

british rap music come a long way... www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoMB...

back to work today.

the new Pepto Bismal ad with a ska music backing about abdominal pains it treats with the closing phrase of "diarrhoea" wasn't something i expected on TV just now

As previously quoted today, i ran into the drummer last night from extreme noise terror who infamously performed with KLF at the '92 brit awards show last night. He told me they have literally no instructions what to do, and just roll with it. always a excellent and innovative group for their time.

just realised i'm playing a record at the wrong speed. well done

Brought to you by Marlboro and Pabst Blue Ribbon

I sometimes draw when a pen and paper is handy

djing this next weekend. playing an assortment of music on wax.

At the bar last night, Stick, the drummer from ENT confirmed that he did play on this iconic KLF performance from 1992. (he appears at certain times of this video on drums, without his now trademark dreads) he told me that they did complete the album with KLF but it will forever go unreleased.

ADHKEI. The unorganised, clown prince of dyspraxic punk poetry circles

Been skating the fine lines of complete disappointment and creative thunder this week. To who I've seen far and wide, thanks for loving me. I'm only gonna come around once.

There they stood a burning effigy of a lost memory when she left I slept like dirt.

Had a lot of fun creating this video for the band as late. The Actionists return, with a ditty about romance and videogames.
