Well worth a listen. As noted in this the basics are something that all parties (and media/commentators) should already be aware of and be taking a lot more seriously. There has been far too much of 'he won't really do what he says', contrary to all the past evidence that he will at least try.

Just watched, entertainment. Fun horror/SF/rom hybrid, suitably enough given the nature of the gorge.

WRAITH - NEW ALBUM OUT NOW!!! blorpuseditions.bandcamp.com/album/wraith

Currently listening to... have pre-ordered from Sub Pop and online stream of @clppng.bsky.social Dead Channel Sky is now available. #musicsky

Listened to the Realms Unknown from @thebugle.bsky.social and @alicefraser.bsky.social, would love to watch Pantheon though it has flitted around inaccessible sites (UK - newly on netflix. Which I don't have!). Mainly as it is from short stories by Ken Liu which I have loved for some years.

Extremely good, and far more accurate than is ideal.

I spoke to the amazing @wanderinggaia.bsky.social about their book Nomad Century and the changes to human mobility being brought by the climate crisis. shows.acast.com/65196b0b1488...

I mean, they should do a better trade deal because economically and for the benefit of the nation it's the only sane course of action. Telling to see a podcast host framing this in terms of party politics, rather than in doing what's right. Illustrates the problem with the commenteriat.

We are live on YouTube on Thursday (7pm GMT) with @alicefraser.bsky.social & @podchris.bsky.social to celebrate the release of A Passion For Passion…

Very good article. This is about a month in brexitland, but applies generally. "If you had fallen into a coma on December 1st and woken up at Christmas, you would be no less informed. In fact for most of the month you would have been better informed, by virtue of being unconscious."

I had a completely fascinating conversation with @aliduffey.bsky.social on the subject of #geoengineering Have a listen! shows.acast.com/65196b0b1488...

Just have. After setting up access from scratch as apparently I haven't done this before (I have). Goal achieved, you may advance to the next level.

My podcast thing is full of Bugles! The empire expands with @alicefraser.bsky.social Realms Unknown.

YouGov find just 30% of people think we were right to leave the EU. The lowest number yet. Just 10% of 18-24 year olds think it was the right decision.

Our first visitor this morning, Ian McMillan to collect a book he ordered, buy another, and sign a few more copies of My Sand Life, My Pebble Life. A very regularly bought book since it's book launch in store in June 2022. Memories of coastal journeys. #booksky

After a fair time packing and moving, catching up with podacast starting here. Echoes with my thoughts on the media coverage of 'events' which has been pretty terrible.

Belated agree, have said before I buy the things I want to keep/own. Reminded of this whilst packing for a move, have a box set in front of me with four of these + 2 others, and have Twin Peaks, Mulholland, Straight Story etc. separately. Rewatch coming when time allows.
