I’m very sad, I keep a spreadsheet of all my gigs! It’s amazing how many times I reference it check dates, tours, locations etc 🙄

Impossible to choose just one!
Highlights include Peter Gabriel 1987, Yes (Union Tour) 1991, Rick & Adam Wakeman (on our honeymoon) 1994, Heaven & Hell (featuring Ronnie James Dio) 2007, and The Neal Morse Band (Similitude Tour) 2017.
But then Kiss, Eagles, Dream Theater…….it’s just impossible! 🤣

38 stableford points? Impressive.
Good to see the light lasting a wee bit longer now. Not long till Spring.

An absolute classic. So happy to have seen RJD perform, although sadly not with Rainbow. What a voice!

Very sad but over the years I have learned not to get too emotionally attached to any player or manager. It always ends in tears, unfortunately.
Very best of luck to Dools for the future.

Ah yes, I remember the Friday Rock Show annual “best songs ever”. I taped it one year, it became my favourite cassette. Remember when “home taping is killing music”? How things change.

Good shout. We had a scone (each) for dinner last night 🤣

Yes, been listening over the last few days, based on recommendations. The long title track is a “bobby dazzler”.
To me, echoes of both Dream Theater and Transatlantic?

Cup of tea? I spot a pain au raisin! Yum.
Looks like a beautiful church. I used to do business in Kingston on Thames; nice town. Enjoyed my walks along The Thames in the evenings (beats sitting in a cheap hotel).

Steve Howe (but I’ve seen both live multiple times and both are superb).

My wife adores it! Me? Personally I think it lacks a bit of variety and it’s not quite as melodic as my favourite DT albums (Black Clouds, Octavarium, Dramatic Turn). Suspect I’ll probably warm to it as I get to know the songs better. What’s your thoughts?

Off to see the new documentary/movie this afternoon. 👍

Alas, I was correct. 5-2 defeat. Referee ruined the game with the sending off and a dubious penalty.
Fortunately for me, I can’t make the next two or three games!!

3-2 down at half time. Captain sent off. Spirited performance so far…….but, still going to be a long afternoon 🙄

It’s really good, but perhaps lacking in a bit of variety? Some of the instrumental passages are superb with guitar and keyboard solos bouncing off each other. Mike’s drumming sounds fantastic (any better than the previous Mike?).
More listening required, but feels like a mid to top DT album.

A lovely gentleman (and no doubt, a great scout). Bobby used to work with my father; I would pick them up after a night in the pub, and chat “everything Thistle” before dropping Bobbie off at his flat. A real gent.

I loved my holiday in NZ last year, four weeks on each island. Golf clubs came with me and I managed 12 games. Didn’t play any of the top notch (expensive) courses, but found some absolute beauties with stunning views. Arrowtown, Tasman, Paraparaumu, Matarangi Dunes, Muriwai, Waipu, Waitangi. 👍

So how did Laurie Canter only get three more points than David Puig in joint fourth? 🤔
Great result by Ian 💪

Personally I like Stanway. I know he has had injuries this year, but it feels like he has dropped down the pecking order. Even behind Crawford, who is anonymous every game.

Turner has been such a disappointment this year (along with all the other new signings!).

Reasonable comeback today to secure 2-2 draw. Two very poor goals lost but at least the other score went our way, so we maintain fourth place by a decent margin.
Two tough away games coming up next though!
