credits rolled on mario & luigi brothership. absolutely see why this is a divisive one reviews-wise. for me - some highs and a lot of lows. lovely art direction. mostly forgettable story and characters. battles were fun. some baffling choices near the end. better than the one with the babies. 6.5/10

this took much longer than i would like to admit. rink texture fixed, added very basic digital movement/momentum. no collision or puck control YET. hockey stick disappears if it's too far away from the camera too (??!!). but it's something. #godotsquared #gamedev

godot progress this week: ran through several tutorials, including excellent 2D/3D game creation intros. it's early days, but engine was easy to pick up, and seems like there's a lot under the hood for later. looking forward to starting to slowly make my own stuff from scratch soon! #godotsquared
