Ready to have my heart destroyed. I've never seen the movie but have seen clips over the yrs. I meant to only read the 1st chapter last night but had to make myself stop after 3 bc I was so tired. I'm also listening to The Notebook to fall asleep. I should probably stock up on Kleenex. #Booksky πŸ“šπŸ’™

Currently listening to Brooke Shields' new book and she has great insight into growing as a woman. She's over a decade older than me but a lot of what she says resonates already. "I am woman, hear me more!" #BookSky πŸ“šπŸ’™ πŸ“šπŸ’‘ πŸ“šπŸŽ§

Approximately 2006 I started writing a book. I spent a year on it here and there. I got about 65 pages in. Recently I went back to it. It's definitely a time capsule of the era. Greatest hits include: Closing a phone to end a call, opening a phone to make a call, calling cabs, flipping channels (1)

I am fast approaching the point in the story where I need to start thinking about this so I summon the combined knowledge of #booksky and humbly request the aid of a cultural consultant on Mongolia, particularly the post-Temujin Golden Horde.

I'm looking for a good "time travel" book that's not necessarily overly sci-fi-y (thinking Back to the Future, 17 Again, or Peggy Sue Got Married). Can be going into the past or future. Any recommendations? Thanks! #booksky #timetravel

My three favorite books/short stories I've read in Feb. In Jan I read a lot of history/in depth books and I'm taking a more laid back approach to Feb for the most part. I devoured all 3 of these. #BookSky

My husband got this for me a while ago and I forgot about it. I was digging through my physical books and found it. I love a Stephen King! Been reading a lot of romance lately and assuming this'll be a complete 180 from that. 🀣 #booksky #stephenking

I absolutely love this show. The characters are all interesting, there's mystery, I've teared up a couple of episodes (and I am not one to cry). And best of all it's tame enough for my whole family - two adults and a tween. I recommend it to everyone when TV comes up. πŸ“Ί #TV #SchoolSpirits

I had a goal to read 10 books in 2025.....I accidentally read 20 in January. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ I'm sure I'll eventually lose steam so I upped my goal for the year to 50. As someone who normally reads 1-2 books a year I'm shocked at myself. And my husband's most used phrase is "another one??!!" #booksky

Recs for auto/biographies where the audiobook is read by the author? I've recently-ish read Brittany Spears, John Stamos, Colin Jost, Janette McCurdy, Rob Lowe, Anna Kendrick off the top of my head. I love lots of hot bts gossip from their movies or famous incidents of their lives. #BookSky

Any recs for an audiobook with an easy plot that's good to listen to while working? Something to keep my interest while not being too intricate in case I miss a min or two. Bonus if it's available on Libby. Please and thank you! #BookSky #Audiobook

In Mar '21 we started fostering dogs. Over the past 3 years we've welcomed 44 dogs into our home. Our quickest adoption was about 15 mins (he got adopted right after I left the facility & went "home" the next morning). Longest was a day shy of 4 mos. The av stay is about 10 days. #dogsofbluesky
