if anyone in seattle needs to newsdump something now is the time

Washington has all the momentum at the end of the first quarter. Michigan leads, 14-13, but the Wolverines have missed eight of their 10 shots.

At the half, Maryland leads, 33-22. Michigan's offensive struggles continue against one of the best defenses in the Big Ten. Wolverines have shot 31.3 percent from the floor so far, with Danny Wolf leading the way (11 points)

Sam Walters is TBD for the Big Ten Tournament and beyond. I’m told it’s a matter of working with Michigan doctors and his doctors. Michigan could certainly use his shooting once he gets healthy. @maizenbrewsbn.bsky.social

Hopped on Out of the Blue with Jared Stormer & Andy Bailey to talk Michigan's strengths & weaknesses two weeks before the NCAA tournament. We touched on the recent struggles, the program's future, and assess Year 1 of the Dusty May tenure. open.spotify.com/episode/4mvO...

important to remember even after this ugly loss: Michigan has secured a double-bye in the BTT with the loss to Wisconsin. An impressive feat in Dusty's first year at the helm.

Michigan falls four spots to No. 29 in KenPom after that Illinois loss.

The defense this pistons team has been playing lately has been nothing short of spectacular

No Michigan coverage from me tonight since I work 4a-12p at my full time gig tomorrow but I’ll have plenty of hoops coverage for @maizenbrewsbn.bsky.social in the coming weeks

Gonna need to watch Hoosiers ASAP, RIP Norman Dale

Georgia just scored more points IN A HALF (against No. 3 Florida) than No. 12 Michigan had in a win yesterday. College basketball is a wild sport.

I HEARD THE PISTONS WON AGAIN

Michigan could have ended this game with that Flagrant 1 committed on Vlad Goldin but instead it’s: -Goldin missed FT -Goldin missed FT -turnover with Burnett stepping out of bounds. Luckily Cornhuskers not named Williams can’t hit the broad side of a barn

Michigan has only made three of its first 20 attempts from three. There's no flow on offense, and the Wolverines are trying to combat that with bad looks shot way too quickly in the shot clock. That's not going to work in a rockfight like this; U-M has got to get to the paint.

After U-M started off 0/7 from three, Danny Wolf knocks down Michigan's first make behind the long line to give Michigan a 17-15 lead, with Burnett heading to the line at the under-8. Nebraska went nearly 5 game minutes (15:39-10:43), but Michigan only scored 6 in that span.

Brice Williams is showing why he's a leading scorer in the Big Ten. He's got all 11 of Nebraska's points at the first media timeout, but Vlad Goldin isn't far behind (six)

Just over six hours before tip-off the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines are 1.5-point road favorites against Nebraska. Lincoln has become a tough place to play over the last few years, and the Wolverines are 6-2 in true road games this season

Michigan has fallen three spots in the AP Poll to No. 15 after the Michigan State loss

It may be recency bias but I can’t remember a Piston making as many and-one threes as Malik Beasley has this season. The dude is unreal.

It’s been a ROUGH two weeks for Purdue

LJ Cryer is putting Houston on his back offensively. He’s got 23 points account; he could be the consistent scorer the Cougars need to go on a deep run next month.

In that second half, Michigan shot 37.5 percent from the field and was outscored 41-24. Michigan also didn’t score in the final 4:12; just a rough final stretch for the Wolverines there

Michigan State wins by 75-62 in Dusty May’s first game in the rivalry. Michigan is now 13-1 at home, giving up the lead in the Big Ten to the Spartans. Putrid second half offense and no answers for Richardson and Holloway were the biggest factors in this loss.

Vlad Goldin provides a few big buckets in what’s been a rough second half offensively for the Wolverines. MSU has done a great job answering with scores of their own, with Richardson up to 21 as MSU leads 68-62 with 3:16 to play.

Back to back threes from Tre Holloman gives Michigan State what feels like a commanding 57-49 lead with 10:43 to play. Michigan could use a scoring burst.

High energy first half, with Michigan going into the break up 4. Jase Richardson leads all scorers with 11, Nimari Burnett is not far behind with nine. That 15-0 run by Michigan was huge. Wolverines have shot 54 percent and are winning the turnover battle (9-7)
