A word about thin privilege. I've lost 50kg in the last 16 months and as a former Fat I really notice that I am no longer invisible to people. Strangers are nicer, more helpful. I hate that this is true but it is.

We are 10 A Level and 11 GCSE exams down today, 3 each to go. The household will be done with exams by next Thursday and I look forward to the acute daily revision/exam stress being replaced by the chronic "have they done well enough to achieve their aims stress". A change is as good as a rest?

On the Today programme this morning they had many comments from people arguing that most pensioners don't need winter fuel allowance and better spent on child poverty. Amazing contrast to the last few months of the exact opposite commentary. BBC news not even pretending impartiality these days.

Alstromeria Indian Summer is the best plant to have in the garden for drama! Grey-purple leaves and fabulous yellow and orange flowers that are well into bloom now and keep coming until there's a frost. Love this plant, when I was a gardener I put it in all my clients gardens! #bloomscrolling 🌱

I have a healthy BMI today, for the first time in decades. It's been hard work getting here and I'm still not entirely happy with how I look. Need to figure out how to stop dieting and accept a much healthier body that is never going to be "finished". But for today, yay! Officially healthy!

I'm nearly at my target weight for the first time in nearly two decades,and finally thin enough to wear fashionable clothes...so obviously the shops are full of AWFUL clothes. Little House on the Prairie chic, flounces, puffed sleeves...AWFUL. I am officially grumpy about this.
