Here’s a first for a Monday: waking up to an email from a student who wants to THANK ME FOR A LESSON I TAUGHT LAST WEEK. He said that a metaphor I used in the lesson on “the sociological imagination” really stuck with him so much that he shared it with his group for his Honors class project.

I forgot how much I love working in my yard this time of year. Sunny and 39-45 f is amazing weather for doing the #winter #gardening tasks. After almost a month of below freezing temps in January my hens are also loving free-ranging in the dirt with me.
