Gabriella Miller was an extraordinary pediatric cancer advocate who died at age 10. I was lucky enough to know her. As a pediatric hematologist oncologist I’d like to remind y’all that federal funding for ALL childhood cancers combined is only 4% of overall cancer research funding. CHILDREN with CANCER. Who deserve every single chance they can get yet are shown over and over how little our society cares.
