Flooding which made the main Killarney to Killorglin road (N72) impassable near the Killarney Brewing Company has been dealt with by Council crews and the road is opened. Thanks to AGS for their assistance with traffic management earlier.

Spot Flooding on the N22 Killarney Cork Road at Minish Gates (Level crossing) has reduced traffic to a single lane. The road is down to a single lane with traffic management is in place.

The overnight Yellow Wind Warning issued by Met Éireann has been expanded to include a Rainfall warning with heavy thundery rain now forecast in addition to strong gusty winds. The warning runs from 4am - 8am Friday.
