There are often a few bee orchids just outside our allotment site, this year there'll be loads, I've found some on an abandoned plot and on some of the paths. I bought some bargain £5 trousers from Big Sains in the sale - felt very much like a Cool Arty Mom this morning, but later realised they’re REALLY SLIPPY. I couldn’t cross my legs all day and kept sliding down my office chair! Which is probably why they were £5.

Today I asked full council a question about making sure that councillors are spending their ward funds by the deadline (and filling in the @for-birmingham.bsky.social survey on how they found using the funds). We know that several key councillors haven’t spent it and there is now a tight deadline.
