Shabbat Shalom, especially to all who joined us in Tallahassee to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights! We’re so proud of all of you who joined us, and we couldn’t do it without our partners @equalityflorida.bsky.social and Interfaith Alliance. Get involved in our advocacy work! keshetonline.org/cm

In response to Trump sharing an upside-down pink triangle, Keshet Pres. & CEO Idit Klein said: “Such actions are frighteningly reminiscent for both LGBTQ+ people and Jews of our long histories of persecution." usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2025/03/15/pink-triangle-symbol-donald-trump/82363059007/

As anti-trans rhetoric + policies escalate across the country, Jewish tradition calls us to respond with courage and compassion. Join us on February 19th at 7:00pm ET for an empowering evening of learning and action as we pledge to affirm trans dignity and stand in solidarity with trans individuals.

Thank you for the kind words, @yitz.io! We are so glad you appreciate the report and took the time to share it. 😄

We urge you to contact your members of Congress and tell them to uphold their duty and stand up for ALL women and ALL girls. Go to p2a.co/ItVxlO5 to send a message with just one click.

Feb 5 is National Girls & Women in Sports Day. All children‘s lives are better when everyone gets to play, including trans and nonbinary girls and boys. Instead of investing in programs to give more children access to sports, the new Administration is denying kids the right to play with friends.

“As people who come from a tradition that sees each one of us as created in the divine image, we recognize these actions as defaming God and betraying the preciousness of life.” Keshet in JTA’s article on the response of trans Jews to anti-trans executive orders: www.jta.org/2025/01/31/u...

Trans folks in your community need to hear from you. Repost this image to say loud and proud: trans Jews belong here! Shabbat Shalom. Wishing rest and comfort, especially to our trans, nonbinary, and intersex community members and families.

Good news out of Michigan! Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has signed a bill adding sexual orientation and gender identity to the state’s hate crime law. We know that discrimination against any of these identities harms us all.

The pace of dangerous executive orders issued by the Administration is dizzying. This is a tactic to overwhelm us. Executive orders are not law. We will protect our rights and freedoms; our advocacy partners are fighting back. We are with you. We will be here. We will never stop fighting for you.

This morning, President Biden recognized the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment and its status as the law of the land. We celebrate this promising news at the end of a challenging week that began with the House’s passage of anti-trans legislation targeting trans women and girls.
