Today's #Wainwrightwalk was a tour of Alcock Tarn and #Grasmere village. #Wainwright wasn't keen on the tarn. I love it it's the first #fellwalking I did. Mam took me there age 5 after my father died.Special! the #views are great too. @keswickboot.bsky.social @fellsandlakes.bsky.social

Had a check around after #StormEowyn lost quite a few #trees. Gutted about the native cherry in the garden. 4 or 5 huge poplars down have made a real mess in our #woodland. Luckily, they all fell on our land @showcasecumbria.bsky.social @keswickboot.bsky.social @fellsandlakes.bsky.social
