Honestly fake Catholics like JD Vance make me livid. I went to catholic school for years and church every Sunday until I was 18, so I left with more understanding of this religion than these braindead incels who just want to larp as crusaders will ever have

They stopped selling the Arizona big can 24 packs it’s actually completely over for me I will never recover from this

Please let me get my tax refund before Elon and his children destroy the entire administrative state

Considering the NYC congestion pricing is transparently a good policy with good outcomes I assume it'll get turned off because good things are no longer allowed to happen in general

Watched a video premised on the idea that Tears of the Kingdom is a bad game that everyone hates and sometimes you just have these moments where you realize that you just don’t value the same things as other people

Reading Tokyo Ghoul, similar thing happening to when I read Hell’s Paradise where it starts out intriguing with a ton of social commentary and then 50 chapters in they introduce their overexplained magic system and power scaling and I fully check out

Indiana Jones absolutely blew me away. Everything is so spot on, so detailed, so physical, while also being a systems-driven, improvisational marvel of game design. May have taken my GOTY crown from Astro Bot, though both were the only games this year that I gladly 100%'d

No one makes weird little freak Nazis like MachineGames. Just absolutely repellent as soon as they come on screen. They're operating at a level beyond our comprehension

"I don't believe in superstition" - Indiana Jones years after canonically seeing a man's heart ripped out with blood magic and a group of Nazis melted by the power of god

Anyone else notice how the internet is basically unusable on mobile at this point? Like open any major site, and the actual content is instantly covered by 10 kinds of ads and is constantly reloading/sliding around/crashing. Need an adblocker just to be able to read an article

Only just played the first level but Indiana Jones is something special. Everything is so tactile and the level of detail is insane. It looks incredible and runs like a dream. Indy feels more in character here than in Dial of Destiny. Hugely impressed

MOUNTAIN DEW, PRODUCE CODE RED ZERO SUGAR NATIONWIDE AND MY LIFE IS YOURS

Seeing Nosferatu could fix me...

Setting the PS5 to the PS3 theme and hearing that clicking noise is the first time I've felt happiness this year

Moana 2 doing that well is absolutely the death knell of original animated projects (hell, probably original projects at all) at Disney at quite a while. Extremely depressing they're now being rewarded for the practices that nearly brought the company to ruin in the early 2000s

Caught up on Sakamoto Days: While it started a bit slow, it’s really come into its own with recent arcs, the art style is incredibly distinct and stylish. Fun combination of slice of life and a John Wick-esque world of assassination with characters having super unique abilities and weapons

Metaphor does an amazing job of sprinkling in narrative hooks in the first hour: - the narration addresses the player, and asks your real name - there’s a book about our modern egalitarian, technological world that’s described as a “fantasy” - the boss monsters are referred to as “humans”

Disney spent the whole pandemic turning half baked movie scripts into mediocre Disney+ shows, and now we’re getting Disney+ shows turned into half baked movies. What a time to be alive

When I’m watching a video essay making a point I agree with and the. they say a movie is “objectively bad”

I give Arcane the highest honor I can bestow: the Gravity Falls “I wish more than anything it was more than 2 seasons but it’s kinda perfect as is so I can’t complain” award

Arcane S2E7 is easily in the conversation for best tv episodes of all time
