I saw an incredible amount of live music in the late 20th century and some of my fondest memories involve David Thomas on stage with Pere Ubu and other projects. I can think of few artists more singular, more genuine, more authentically themselves. Resquiscat.

Today is baseball opening day and a bittersweet one as it is our first without my friend Steve Albini, who loved baseball so much that he spent a good chunk of his life telling everyone how superior it was to other sports. Mainly because it didn’t have a clock. Because he was a true weirdo. (1/x)
