One of the things that drives me nuts when they complain about how little other countries import from us is the lack of context on the relative size of the economies. Based on GDP, we are ~240x the size of Vietnam. Of course they are going to import less!

IMHO one reason being a professor is stressful (and professors are constantly late and absent-minded) is that it's not just one job, it's three or four jobs in a trenchcoat. Plowed away the past few days catching up on research stuff and now I'm even more behind on email and admin 😢 It never ends
