I received an email today notifying me that our regional arts festival has “suddenly decided to sunset” after 55 years. I can’t help but think it’s because of the current political climate - artists are afraid of doing things in public less they incurred the wrath of the American SS in Washington.

You can’t really trust the Apple weather app. Right now where I live it is saying the temperature is 0°F - a big old goose egg. However, the National Weather Service and my own weather station say that it’s it is 6°F. I know who I’m going to believe, and it’s not 🍏

I just heard about some sad news for the film music community. Noted composer, orchestrator, & film music historian John W. Morgan passed away after a long illness. He was a big part of saving & reconstructing film music from classic films (along with William Stromberg). RIP Sir. #filmmusic

Apple’s AI failed me tonight. I followed the instructions and tried to make a emoji of a photograph of me that was in my camera roll, and it wouldn’t do it. So much for “Apple Intelligence”. 😁😎
