Unsurprisingly on X some of the reaction to the Pope’s death is sickening. But I suppose some people just have that in them. Yes I’m biased as a Catholic and I accept that there are alternative viewpoints but some of it goes beyond basic decency. May he Rest in Peace 🇻🇦

The chemistry between Reece Dinsdale and John Thaw as father and son was sublime, as was the comic delivery. Come on, watch it - you can thank me later🤣

A Tory MP in the Commons debate says that ‘anyone paying attention’ could see the problems with British Steel. Clearly these problems only began at the last election- the Tories were obviously ‘paying attention’ for the previous 14 years but still couldn’t solve them. Is he admitting ineptitude??

It’s a pound to a penny that this whole chaos of Trump’s tariffs will result in billionaires becoming even richer and the poor paying the price after the world’s economy eventually recovers. But before that, of course, so many ordinary people - including ordinary Americans - will end up much poorer
