What a great turnout for the social care day of action today! Demonstrating to the government the significant value of #SocialCare and the importance of fully funding the care and support millions of people rely on. #ValueSocialCare #ProvidersUnite @vodgmembership.bsky.social

Congrats to every KeyRIng Member that took part in the Boccia tournament yesterday. We hear you were amazing and had a great day. #Boccia Boccia is a sport similar to bowls and is designed for people with disabilities that affect movement.

Mental health social care is about saving and changing lives for the better. Let’s raise our voices together and put mental health at the heart of social care reform. #StrongerTogether #ProvidersUnite #MentalHealth

We are joining 100s of social care providers in demanding that social care support is valued and respected for the difference it makes to people's lives. Your life, our lives and the lives of people you care about. #ProvidersUnite #ValueSocialCare Join us: www.providersunite.co.uk#signup_letter

So excited for our first Member voice meet up. A bit nervous too as the plan is relaxed. (We want to build it with people not from our desks). #Coproduction Image is from the Peckham wall. A symbol of connection and community.

#SaferInternetDay There are many reasons why people don't want to get online. Safety should not be one of them. In a digital world we advocate for an online community that is welcoming. In the meantime, we grow the skills that people need to identify threats and stay safe.

Whether you're a care provider, worker, or access care, we need your support. Stand with us on our Day of Action with @providersunite.bsky.social in Westminster on 25 February, 11:00am to 3:00pm. We are stronger together. Join the movement: www.providersunite.co.uk #ProvidersUnite #NICSolutionNow

We are a member of the Association and love the way they represent VCSE providers. They amplify the voices of those that make a difference. #MentalHealth #Stronger

This month we have our first Member meeting to discuss gloriously ordinary language. People supported by KeyRing will tell us words that make them shudder and share words they prefer. This is all part of people leading a life that is about more than support and the labels we stick on.

erm hello. How good is this resource! Anyone ever asked you what you're good at? Did you shrug and mumble? This tool is great for getting people to think about what they can do. Love it!

Happy #GreatMentalHealth day London. We are thrilled to be part of creating opportunities for connection and wellbeing. Check out other services

If the can is in the long grass, we'll mow the grass together. Social care is about lives, it doesn't stop because we are waiting for xyz report or funding. Together we will make the difference. See you all there. #Better_Now

We just wondered whether anyone had started building local lists for #SocialCare contacts on Bluesky? We had lists for each area we work in on they who shall not be named's platform. If anyone can share a #Sheffield social care movers and thinkers list we'd be so grateful.

Our staff Shine awards celebrate commitment and dedication to improving the lives of people in our communities. 💙 We had an overwhelming number of nominations this year, and we believe everybody who had their work and compassion highlighted deserves a share of the spotlight. ⭐

Just back from a quick personal care break to our Gloriously Ordinary Language day. Accessing our community is scheduled for 12.30 where we will mobilise with a walk to the local park. Challenging behaviour us? Never! 😆 #GloriouslyOrdinaryLanguage

It was great to connect with other @assocmhp.bsky.social members to discuss the value of the Providers Unite movement and our commitment to getting the message right. Social Care is a core part of connection, community and prevention. #ProvidersUnite

We've been to this a few times and can recommend it.

Ever grateful to @unitedresponse.bsky.social for their handy easy read news. It'd be great if orgs didn't need to spend time and money on translating messages so that the people impacted by this can understand it though. In the meantime #SocialCare puts people at the centre of their own lives.

Yes! This imagery is beautiful. Thanks for making them available. #PositiveAgeing

Just grabbing a cuppa and a blanket so we can read this co- authored piece from @scie.org.uk

In the spirit of community, connection and just getting on with it. KeyRing Helping Hands is a project where Members (people who draw on our support) help each other. They've done decluttering, shed building, holiday planning, meal making, decorating. All because someone said let's do it.

We're hosting the next Self Directed Support meetup. It's a global network of like minded folk who want to see a change. Alongside movers and shakers @citizennetwork.bsky.social RSVP here: actionnetwork.org/events/self-...

Some interesting points but a whole paper called 'Fixing social care'? Things need to improve but Social care is an opportunity for literally millions of people to live life, to contribute, to connect not a broken table. New title? 'Getting the best out of social care'? cps.org.uk/research/fix...

see you later on.

Can you see why we get on so well with TLAP? We'd strongly recommend their Making it Real framework makingitreal.org.uk to aid personalised support. Plenty of ideas and ways to involve people who draw on your support. #SocialCare

Just going to leave this here.

We loved Clare's work on the Self Directed Support Standards. Training opportunities coming up.

Interesting and balanced thread ⬇️ There is so much opportunity but getting the messaging right is crucial. Yes we can help resolve current issues but we are so much more than a supporting actor to the NHS. Opportunity, connection and support where they live is part of a tapestry of services.

#Leeds #Jobvacancies Great organisation with values and ethos to make a difference.

The scam universal credit app is doing the rounds again! Members have been warning each other so we're doing the same with our connections.
