One of the things I love about the discovery reported in today’s Guardian is that it puts paid to the prejudice you see in a lot of biofiction that Anne Shakespeare/Hathaway would have been illiterate. Nope! www.theguardian.com/culture/2025...

Overwhelmingly disappointed to not see President Saliman's name on this letter. @colorado.edu is a member of @aacu.org, and there's no reason why he shouldn't have. One could argue that this letter doesn't go nearly far enough, but somehow I don't think that's it. www.aacu.org/newsroom/a-c...

The Norton Library edition of my translation of the Iliad, with stylish red cover, is now available. It has complete text, maps, notes, introduction and translator's note, and it's yours for under $10 (as are many other tempting Norton Library volumes). wwnorton.com/books/978132...

JFC. The premise of this dumb article is that a useless white woman believes that you need to voluntarily subscribe to a mental illness in order to give your life purpose...

This has got to be the single most underwhelming night of Wrestlemania in history. Weak builds, bad matches, shock for nothing more than shock's sake. Glad McMahon is gone, but the longer this goes, the less capable of a booker HHH looks to be.

Just gonna leave this here. theanarchistlibrary.org/library/umbe...

Watching all these centrists convince themselves that THIS is the time Lucy doesn't pull away the football, all because they tied themselves to a political party that has seen a significant rightward shift in the last 40 years. They can afford to wait: their lives aren't in danger under this admin.

I dunno I would maybe think about how all the people you hate are deeply anti communist and wonder why but that’s just me

Ruminating on the As You Like It nature vs city mini-workshop we ran this week. It feels like finding that balance is essential, especially today. Grateful to Boulder for recognizing and embracing what I feel is an essential truth: we need to live in harmony with the planet.

Amazing

"Try to think of how morally bankrupt you'd have to be to summon the U.S. attorney general on a beloved children's entertainer who thinks it's wrong to kill kids." defector.com/ms-rachel-is...

There's a fine line between trying to "shape discourse" and "demanding that your own pet peeves be acquiesced to by society," and said line gets muddier every day. "If you don't like something, keep scrolling" say the people who see something they don't like yet refuse to "keep scrolling."

Nothing gets white people to care more about the "future" of the country than the state of the economy. Civil rights aren't being enforced, perceived enemies of the WH are being targeted, and over 60,000 federal employees have been laid off into a saturated market. But sure, "true crisis."

This parasite actually believes that Harris lost because Leftists have no sympathy for landlords. When we try and tell you that center-right "liberals" will say literally anything to avoid accepting even a modicum of responsibility for their failed, flawed, this is exactly what we mean.

I have seen the dumb men throng to see him
