Today in “how does this make America healthy again”? apple.news/AYDS-2V8pRKy...

Governor Tim Walz, "The way our nation moves forward is not through hate. It is not through violence. It is through humility, and grace, and compassion.

ON TOP of the ethical reasons to not use AI, it's also 1) bad at what it does 2) literally makes you stupider 3) has HUGE environmental costs: every search is equivalent to pouring out an entire bottle of water. It's not worth it to generate a cutesy emoji or have it write an error-riddled draft.

Ahead of tonight’s Angel City match, the club stands with the city of LA. Fans found these shirts at their seats and together with the players are showing that Los Angeles is for everyone ❤️ 📷: @angelcity.com

The day started with tragedy with political violence in MN and instead of being scared, neighbors SHOWED UP to stand together at No Kings Twin Cities. We packed the Capitol Mall all the way to the Cathedral. Estimate 80,000+ right now. So proud of our state. #nokings #indivisible

🚨 Secretary Noem basically said that her agency is now dedicated to forcible regime change…in American cities and states. There 👏🏽 is 👏🏽 a 👏🏽 name 👏🏽 for 👏🏽 this

What they are saying: Make America Healthy Again What they are doing: - Removing millions from healthcare access - Restricting vaccine access - Slashing the budget for medical research in half

Here are my top 10 golden retrievers of all time!

@belongia.bsky.social is a former ACIP member 👇

The media needs to stop referring to RFK Jr. as a "vaccine skeptic." He is a conspiracy theorist and a vaccine denier.

🚨 RFK Jr. just axed all members of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices -- HHS' science-based panel of people who evaluate the safety, efficacy and clinical need of vaccines. All gone. Not good. www.huffpost.com/entry/rfk-jr...

This is on all the Senators who turned a blind eye and voted to confirm. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/09/h...

This is a key way many have warned about how he could take vaccines away. ACIP determined which vaccines insurance covered. If they don't have to cover, vaccines become something only for the rich but that's not how vaccines work. It threatens everyone.

This is the big one: Kennedy is firing the entire #ACIP in a move he says is needed to restore confidence in vaccines. "It scares me to think of what’s ahead,” Mike Osterholm of CIDRAP told me. www.statnews.com/2025/06/09/r...

60% of births in Mike Johnson’s home state of Louisiana are covered by Medicaid. 125,000 people in John Thune’s home state of South Dakota are on Medicaid. Republicans’ health care cuts will hurt Americans in every corner of this country.

Your bill is going to cut coverage for 11 million Americans and it’ll still cost more than universal healthcare. Healthcare is a human right, you absolute ghouls.

Bruh had me feeling like i wanted to cry, yall can go to hell if you let that man get elected again.

once again I must tap my own sign

Friends, as much fun as it is to play "Goon, fiend, or wanker? with the Trump regime, the sad reality is that this regime is actively attacking the LGBTQ+ community. Please share this LGBTQ+ friendly one-pager of mental health resources widely #PrideMonth #MentalHealth #AltComms

Amazing. Respect the lede.

This is Lola. She is one of the most skilled soccer dribblers we've ever seen, so it makes sense that she's already capturing footage for her documentary. 14/10

Chris Murphy on Joni Ernst: "I think everybody in that audience knows they're going to die, they would just rather die in old age at 85 or 90 instead of dying at 40. And the reality is that when you lose your healthcare, you are much more at risk of early death."

This morning we drove to Bozeman Pride for @zoandbehold.bsky.social to speak, then went down to Yellowstone and saw incredible sights. Then, on the drive back to Missoula at 1AM, the heavens erupted. Naked eye visible aurora. The northern lights told us Happy Pride :)

Planning a family road trip this summer? So is author @sarahkendzior.bsky.social. She just hopes the country she knows won’t disappear before she hits the road. On this week's More To The Story, Kendzior chronicles her family’s road trips while witnessing American decline from her car window.

Universities are not actually extensions of political agendas in a free society (or shouldn't be), so having this be the baseline is incredibly disturbing and a big red flag.

omg awesome www.axios.com/local/indian...

This is crass cost-cutting wrapped in junk science as justification. Removing these recommendations means Medicaid will no longer automatically cover Covid vaccines for kids and pregnant people, who make up about half of all Medicaid recipients. It's "saving" money by forcing the vulnerable to pay.

"Should we do something? It feels like we should do something. Hopefully, I’ll feel more like I can dedicate the brain space to that just as soon as I finish my work, which is tuning this glockenspiel."

I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

Conservatives will likely point to private charity or paid work as the solution here. But families on SNAP are already relying on overstretched food banks to fill in the gaps in the program. And most families on SNAP are already working--their jobs just don't pay enough to keep their kids fed.

AOC: When you wake up in the morning, you will realize that you voted to defund planned parenthood and take away health care from 13.7 million Americans and when this country wakes up there will be consequences to pay for this

I voted NO on their “big, beautiful” bill because it will strip health care from 14 million Americans—including nearly 130,000 people in my district who rely on Medicaid.

Not quite. Habeas Corpus is not just for American citizens or people who are here legally, @slotkin.senate.gov. It would be helpful to remind everyone that the Constitution protects ANY person that's in the United States. Not just citizens.
