Visited heronry this morning. Beautiful site, watching the Great Blue Herons go about their tasks, completing nest, sitting on eggs, preparing for the next generation. Doing what they need to do, independent of all the chaos in the human world below them.

Monday Magic. This week is Lunar total eclipse week. Friday morning, the moon will hide precisely in the earth’s shadow. Partial eclipse starts 1:09 AM ET Totality start/end 2:26 AM/3:31 AM. ET Partial again 4:47 AM ET Better than last year's partial. Not equal to the total solar. Still cool.

Exploring Bsky for the first time My photography is nature and normally focused on sundown to sunrise. Winter takes me outside to capture some beautiful birds, scenes and a snowflake or two. One of my favourites, Snowy Owls show up during the winter in Michigan.
