BlueSky won't be able to compete with the major social media companies for one simple reason. Engagement on BlueSky is horrible and borders on being non-existent. The algorithms on BlueSky boost posts from 10% of the users while restricting posts from the remaining 90%. www.yahoo.com/tech/hollywo...

I took a couple of weeks off of BlueSky because the engagement on here is simply awful. It appears the algorithms restrict most posts with the exception of a few "special" accounts. I'm not deleting my account yet, but BlueSky will never compete against FB or Twitter unless they fix their feeds.

BlueSky has horrible engagement post Day 6. This will be my last post for a while. Engagement on BlueSky is so poor there isn't much reason to continue using this site. I've attempted to contact BlueSky staff through posts, DM's, and even email with zero response. Why is this a problem for everyone?

@support.bsky.team I've tried everything but I cannot see what my followers are posting, and I have tried resetting the language settings. Worse yet, my original posts are not being seen either. I even deactivated my account in the hope it would reset. I also sent BlueSky Support an email.

@support.bsky.team It's been nearly a week since my feeds stopped working properly. I sent an email and submitted a report through BlueSky, but haven't received a response. Please don't get me wrong... I fully understand how busy you all must be with the site growing so rapidly.

This is really an excellent idea. Not sure why it hasn't been done in the past. It would be fairly easy to drain sinks and washing machines into a reservoir when building new homes and businesses. If you don't think it is necessary search for the Ogallala Aquifer. Warning... it is depressing.
