This is a horrible situation . My thoughts are with all those affected by the Francis Scott key bridge collapse tonight.

If you are business calling candidates offering your election services, try to at least get the state the candidate is running in correct.

#baltimorecity I hear time and time again that people want to hear from all mayor candidates, but the top three always dominate the news. If you want to hear more from us please reach out to your media outlets and let them know you want them to report on the all the candidates.

#baltimorecity as mayor one of my plans is to have as many Goverment employees as possible become multilingual. the languages taught will be the top five non-English languages in Baltimore & ASL. This way the government will be better prepared to help as many people as possible

#baltimorecity if your organization is having mayoral forum. invite as many candidates as you can. Only inviting the “top” three will just perpetuate the same song and dance. Real change will be found in the lesser known candidates. who are not beholden to the old system.

#baltimorecity we need to help local entrepreneurs start up their businesses. Having local stores and walkable mobile friendly neighborhoods will reduce crime, increase city pride and make the city a better place.

#BaltimoreDecides. Do not be deceived by the special interests groups into thinking that the lesser known mayoral candidates are not viable. What makes a candidate viable is the people. Vote who aligns best with you, vote with your morals and ethics. Only then can change happen.

#baltimorecity as mayor I will be as transparent and honest as I can be. I will speak to people with candor and open the mayor’s office to accountability. Too many of our past administrations have done things behind closed doors it is time to take the doors off their hinges.

Growing up in Harford County, I heard so much negativity about #BaltimoreCity. After 15 years here, I can say that I love this city and almost all the horror stories were based in fear and ignorance or simply racist propaganda.

#baltimorecity businesses should not be afraid of unions. If you are taking care of your employees then a union will not change much. Only businesses that are trying to exploit their workers need to fear a union’s formation.

#baltimorecity unions are supposed to help workers, but they can’t do that if the city and the unions don’t work together. I want to strengthen workers rights and prioritize good union work for contractors that the city uses. Strong workers make a strong city.

#baltimorecity I know many people still working for the city, who are supposed to be represented by a union. Yet they do now know how to contact these unions for help. As mayor I will work with the unions to make them more visible for those who need them.

It's time to transform the #BlackButterfly into a Black Phoenix, rising above past inequalities. Let's unite for a thriving, promising #BaltimoreCity— free from violence, poverty, and oppression. Together, let's make Baltimore the best it can be for EVERYONE. #BaltimoreReborn

If you want a safer, greener, healthier #BaltimoreCity and want the most progressive candidate in years to be your mayor and work for change, you have to make your voice heard. Spread the word. Let's elect someone everyone wants, not just those in the spotlight. #BaltimoreDecides

#baltimorecity the specter of redlining casts its shadow over us. Too much inequality dwells in those old lines. We must work to fix this. The current and past administrations failed to do so. I will not. 4 years is not enough to undo it completely but we can start the work

Several other #BaltimoreCity mayoral candidates advocate for more armed cops in schools, treating schools like prisons and our babies like criminals. Let's prioritize our kids' safety and peace by improving reporting policies for warning signs and reducing overall gun presence.

Nick Mosby should resign. The City's confidence in him has diminished greatly and #Baltimore deserves a city council president who is honest in all things, especially their financial disclosures.

#baltimorecity will be a sanctuary for all regardless of sex, gender, race, or creed. Our city will welcome the tired, worn, and persecuted. Doesn’t matter if you come here by plane, train, foot, a bus from Texas or fell off the back of a truck. Baltimore will welcome you.

#baltimorecity making the city green and walkable will benefit everyone including people with mobility issues and disabilities. By making easy to use, and safe walkways & byways across the city anyone can safely get where they need to go without needing a car.

I love #baltimorecity people say that want someone new, who will put the city first. That person is me. People want a progressive mayor that will be flexible to meet the needs of our cities diverse population, I am that mayor. Vote for me and see a city reborn.

#baltimorecity I love this city. It saddens me so much that our leaders for decades have only been reactive to the pain of our city and not proactive in helping our city We will not break this cycle until new leadership unburden by city hall politics are elected.

#baltimore if you want a pro union, pro environment, pro economic stability, pro education, pro public transit, pro walkability, and pro inner harbor restoration mayor, vote for me and vote for a changed Baltimore.

#baltimore. If you believe in my vision of Baltimore and want me to have the best chance of becoming mayor, please donate to my campaign fund. hate that I have to ask for any donations, but the reality of the political machine is that running without donations is near impossible

On Friday 2/2 at 5-7 pm, I'm hosting an Ask Me Anything on the r/baltimore reddit where I'll answer your questions about my policy, my background, the state of our current government, and my plans to revive #BaltimoreCity as a city that becomes the envy of the East Coast.

#baltimore I may be the most environmentally friendly and progressive candidate in the mayor election, I welcome any endorsements that may be offered, and appreciate donations to make the dream of a reborn Baltimore a reality. We can make my run competitive.

I believe that having an environmentally responsible city that works with nature and having a thriving economy that brings in people and businesses are not mutually exclusive. Ecology and economy after all come from the same root word. #baltimore #baltimoremayor

I want to bring #baltimore into the future. I want to work for the people to make our city reborn, to create a shining beacon that is the envy to other cities. Vote for me in the primaries and I will fight for a future we can be proud of to leave to our children.

#baltimore the city has been declining for decades yet our elevated officials only ever seem to react and try to slow the decline. We need to give the people a reason to hope for a better future. And under my leadership we will reverse the decline and give the people hope.

#baltimore our council and mayor are stuck in a cycle of big promises and little change, we can fix this by electing new progressive candidates to office like myself. We need to move the city forward, so we can grow and prosper. #baltimoremayor.

#baltimore it may be time for us to undue the 1948 question 5 amendment. That amendment and red lining have irreparably damaged the cities health and growth. As we work to fix the legacy of red lining we must also fix the mistake of 1948 and put a new amendment to undue it.

#baltimore as mayor I will create a series of videos titled the day in the life of the mayor. These vids will take you through a typical day of work for the mayor, and will be posted regularly. I want transparency in our mayor system. #baltimoremayor

#Baltimore government employees should not have to risk their lives, or paycheck when they don’t have to, on bad weather days. It is wrong for a mayor to tell people to stay safe at home and then not even close the government for non essential personnel. #baltimoremayor.

If elected mayor I will go to Annapolis and make a lot of friends, so I can fight for my city along with our state representatives. As mayor I serve the city and must fight for its future everywhere I can. #baltimore #baltimoremayor

So once again people outside the city of #Baltimore is trying to put a issue on our ballot. Say no to outside influences. City issues need to be decided by city residents. enough is enough. Vote for me and I will fight for the city. #baltimoremayor

As mayor my administration would be one that listens to the experts and will be willing to change course in our policies if research shows we are moving in the wrong direction. I am not to arrogant to assume I am all knowing when it comes to policy. #Baltimore #baltimoremayor.

One of my big plans for #baltimore is to make it more walkable. This will increase community cohesion, help with shopping, jobs, and help with the environment. Walkable communities are thriving communities. #baltimoremayor

I truly do love the media and I am not being sarcastic. But it’s vexing when they know that people want other choices in candidates, but won’t report on them unless they have over 6 figures In their campaign finance. It’s an endless cycle that traps the city.#Baltimore

Baltimore city needs to move forward and not backwards. The only reason people are flocking to Dixon is name recognition, they don’t want Scott and know no other names. There are other candidates running who will do a great job, specifically myself. #Baltimore #baltimoremayor

Dixon and Scott are not the only candidates. Yet the way the media reports it they seem to be the only choices. If the news stations and media outlets reached out to the other candidates and report on them we can give voters real choices. #baltimore #baltimoremayor #bmore

As mayor I will work hard to reduce crime by using the best evidence based methods available. We must break the cycles of poverty that give birth to city crime. We will bring back prosperity to the city. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. #baltimore #baltimoremayor

Recent news articles says residents want new blood that can think outside the box to help the city. I am that outside the box thinking new blood. If you want a mayor that will bring the city into a new era vote for me. #Baltimore #baltimoremayor

Children are our future we must invest in them, give them incentives to go to school, get good grades, and graduate. I will establish an incentive fund that will give student money for those things. Won’t be cheap, but it is worth the investment #Baltimore #baltimoremayor

Children and teens needs places to be kids and have a safe place to hang. We need more rec centers, skate parks, street art parks, gardens, and internet/gaming cafes. These places will be well lit, monitored for Saftey, and have mentors available. #baltimore #baltimoremayor

The city has too many overlapping agencies and too much bureaucracy. We need to realign the city agencies so they are more efficient, transparent, and navigable. The people need to be able to access the services they need without being bounced around.

If I am elected mayor not only would employees be notified of closures and delay early during inclement weather, but I will be more cognizant of employee safety and be very liberal with closing Goverment offices when it’s not safe to travel.
